Moldavites are best known for their green color, but they can occur in many different shades, from very light green and olive green to deep forest green, and even brownish tones.

As a result, each moldavite can have its own combination of color, intensity, and transparency, ranging from clear, bright green pieces to darker and more opaque specimens.
